Ant Medicine the strategy of patience.

Leaf Cutter Ants

Ant Medicine The power of super strength and patience

With Ant Medicine Ant can carry a leaf over a hundred miles just to get it back to the anthill. When we think of Ant, we hardly ever think of one single ant. We mostly think of a mass of Ants, perhaps a mound of ants, or a swarm of them. We tend to think of them as a swarm of something annoying or destructive or something that needs to be gotten rid of. Ant Medicine has a deeper meaning.

I have been asked to present Ant Medicine for a very specific reason. As it is very easy to overlook these tiny creature-teachers. It is important to note that all Animal Medicine is of value and none more important than another.

Many people get caught up in seeing the power of the animals, the stronger the better in their eyes. Well, an Ant, for its size is one of the strongest creatures in the world. Let’s take a look at them shall we? I believe we will come to see that they are a very powerful Medicine indeed.

Ants in Africa will strip a forest bare when need is scare, even if it takes them a year. Ants are builders like Beaver. As master builders they teach the construction techniques we can apply to our own lives. Always working at something their group efforts produce successful projects. If their home/colony is destroyed they immediately go to work to construct a new one. Tenacious is putting it mildly.

Oh tiny Ant…
Your patience grows, Like the sands of time.
Can I learn to be like you?
Or is that to sublime?

Ant Face

Ant Medicine. Are You looking at me?

Ant Medicine

More aggressive than Badger, with stamina like Elk. Ant is capable of carrying many times his size in weight, if he can’t carry it he will drag it, or get help from another ant. If you put an obstacle in his path, Ant will study it and then make a decision to either go over it, around it, or try to find a way to take it with him if he wants it.

You cannot stop Ant from their ultimate goal unless you kill them. With scrutiny like Mouse, and the give-away of Turkey. Ant Medicine is a very powerful Medicine.

Ant bridge

Some sacrifices must be made. If we are to survive.

Every Ant in the anthill is part of the Ant group mind, as all Ants work together for the good of the colony and Queen Ant. Self-sacrifice is a part of Ant Medicine. The greatest attributes of Ant Medicine is patience, and the key to using Ant Medicine.

There is no false pride, and working within the group is a sign of strength rather than weakness. Patiently Ant teaches us to take things, one step at a time and to problem solve issues. Ant is tenacious in its focus and a very socialized creature. Exemplifying team effort and the need to focus on the concerns of the greater whole.

Seldom do we find them alone and without the presence of others. Where colonies exist it is easy to see they are busy creatures on the go. Self discipline and group effort are pronounced in Ant Medicine for they have the ability to delegate without giving up.

Patience is a major factor in their makeup and they are not given to taking the fast, easy solution. Willing to work and get the job done in the best possible way they prove time and again that persistence pays. This is the Message of Ant Medicine.

The quiet determination of Ant to reach a goal and the willingness to work hard at steadily accomplishing the task at hand is a powerful lesson in the Medicine of Ant.

Contrary Ant Medicine

If you want to keep it. Put it away

Contrary Ant Medicine

Watch out !  Here comes the sting ! If you are in a hurry, you may fall prey to those who are not working for the good of the whole of humanity. Those individuals who make greed a way of life, and prey on the fear and urgency of those who have forgotten natural and tribal law, have the sting of Ant Medicine coming their way.

It’s easy Money ! If this warning applies to you, become aware of the users and con artists that prey on the unsuspecting. Ant Medicine in the contrary position also teaches us to trust natural law. When we do, we find harmony always follows.

Ones silly impatience will bring Coyote to aid in the sabotaging of our plans for the future. For if one allows panic to outweigh ones rational sensibilities. Coyote will trick one into believing you are right. The key here is to honor the will of the Great Spirit, so that mountains are not made of anthills.

Ant People

Ant Medicine

Ant People come in a multitude of colors.

Ant People are active, community-minded folks who see the greater future needs of their town. Ant people are planners, like Squirrel, and are content to see their dreams being built a little at a time. In today’s society this is a rare medicine and quality. Ant people have a knowing about the sweet victory at the end of the line. There is never a concern about “going without”. For if they miss the one. They are sure that something equal or better is available.

When you have Ant Medicine, you eat very slowly and deliberately and are content in knowing that “what is yours,” will come to you. This knowing is good Ant Medicine. It teach us to trust in the Universe and the Great Spirit to provide in our life situation. Usually, when you need it the most, and just what you need.

If it’s not on the horizon or just around the next anthill, you may need to use some other strategy. As Ant Medicine also represents tenacity, super strength, intelligence, psychic abilities, telepathic communication, sharp thinking, and planning.

Ant People maybe Aliens, maybe not. It appears they have been here much longer than we.

Ant People and the Hopi, Mythological Evidence

Ant People played a crucial role in the survival of the ancient Hopi. The Ant People’s great kiva provided sanctuary during both the destruction of the First World, or First Era, by fire (volcanism or asteroids) and the Second World by ice (glaciers). For a possible location of this, see “Lost City of the Dead in the Grand Canyon“. It makes for some interesting viewing. Maybe the Earth is hollow.

With the Hopi, only the virtuous members of the tribe following a certain cloud by day and a certain star by night were able to find the sky god Sotuknang. He elected to save these migrating “chosen people” by leading them to the Ant People for protection.

Ants are portrayed as generous and industrious, offering the Hopi sustenance when supplies ran short and teaching them the merits of food storage. In fact, ants have such thin waists today, as the legend goes, because they once deprived themselves of provisions.

In another account of the earliest eras, the Hopi themselves are described as ants when they were “way underneath.” The word underneath refers to both the Ant Kiva and the subterranean First and Second Worlds. The previous Third World destroyed by a flood is also conceptualized as being below ground, where our present Fourth World is on the Earth’s surface.

Either they were bad artists, or their telling us something Important

According to a rather brutal Hopi myth of “Why the Ants Are So Thin,” many ants were living east of Toko’navi, or Navaho Mountain near the Arizona/Utah border. These insects are described not in the allegorical manner of an Aesop fable but in an almost humanoid way. During a Kachina Society initiation, two ants had dressed up as fierce, giant Hu kachinas and flogged the ant children so hard that they were almost cut through in the middle of their bodies, hence their slenderness. Is this yet another reference to “giants in the earth?”

Nephilim

See it appears the people are Ants, or this guys head is just to big.

Ants are also associated with either warfare or hunting. The Hopi believe that both traits are related to Orion in particular and stars in general. Isn’t just amazing that so many ancient people have Orion at the center of their mythology? This tribe also connects black ants with witchcraft.

The Hopi word Tokoíanu (similar to the mountain’s name) literally means flesh ant, the large dark red ant with a painful sting. On the other hand, the Red Ant Society of the Zuni, a tribe that lives near the Hopi, is associated with healing.

Were the Ant People (nem‚l‚h) actually the progeny (called Nephilim) of women who mated with rebel angels? Did an emissary from Orion, whose name means ant, come to Arizona in order to become Masau’u, the ant-like god of the Hopi?

Were the Ant People willing to save the virtuous humans from two different natural cataclysms because the former saw the genetic reflection of themselves in the latter?

Were the kiva-like caves in which the Hopi found refuge really the anthills of ancient star beings? These questions may in the end be unanswerable. Nevertheless, the implications keep us intrigued.

Hopi Kevi

Looks like an Ant hole, Doesn’t it?

In Mesoamerica the Maya, who share many cultural traits with the Hopi, tell legends of ant-like men building stone cities and roads during the First Creation (World). These peculiar beings possessed magical powers and could summon stones into proper architectural positions by just whistling.

Archaeologist J. Eric S. Thompson writes: “Zayamuincob can be translated as ‘the twisted men’ or ‘the disjointed men,’ suggesting a connection with ‘hunchback.’ The word may also be connected with zay, ‘ant,’ for there is also a Yucatec

[Yucatan Maya] tradition of an ancient race called chac zay uincob, ‘red ant men.’ They were industrious like the ants which take out the red earth and make straight roads through the forest.”

The Apache and other Pueblo Indians, such as the Zunis and Hopi, have legends about their ancestors emerging from an underground world, generally after some cataclysmic event, as if a cycle in time, or another reboot in the programmed realities of the human experiment, are always linked to star gods, or star people, who brought them here from outer space.

Nasca Lines

Ant or Spider?

The Hopi speak of the Snake People. Could this be a metaphor for human DNA and Kundalini energy awakening.  Or maybe a reference to the Ant People (gray aliens,) who protected them beneath the surface. Physical reality is a metaphor for “beneath the surface”. To rise above is to return to a higher consciousness, through the Black Hole, (Eye of Time), or the Stargate of human creation.

According to Hopi there have been many worlds.  Are these worlds a physical manifestation or a spiritual event, or both? Many cultures from around the world speak of similar worldwide upheavals, like the great flood. The Place of Emergence from between worlds was called “Sipapu”.

Ant Medicine

Hopi Storytellers tell of Ant People saving Humanity.

Worlds Apart

The First World

The First World of the Hopis was corrupted not so much by evil as by “forgetting.” The people had been instructed by Sotuknang and Spider Woman to respect their Creator, and to use their vibratory centers to help them follow his plan. However, as they began to forget this, they began to quarrel among themselves. Finally, the situation reached a point where Sotuknang and Taiowa decided that the world had to be destroyed. Sotuknang appeared before those “chosen people” who still remembered the Creator and his plan, and told them that the doors at the tops of their heads ( crown chakra ) ?? would lead them to safety before he destroyed the world. They followed his indication, and took refuge underground with the Ant People as the First World was destroyed by fire, and a Second World was created for their emergence.

The Second World (Pole Flip)

The Second World was almost as beautiful as the first, with the significant difference that the animals no longer trusted humans and remained separate from them. But here too, people began to forget the plan of the Creator, until finally this world also had to be destroyed.

Again, those who had “remembered” were saved, and taken care of by the Ant People. Once they were safe, the twins at the poles were instructed to leave their posts so the world would spin-off its axis and out of control (pole flip)?  As it traveled through space it froze into solid ice, until the twins took up their stations again and restored the Earth to life, creating a Third World.

The Third World (The Great Flood)

Now in the Third World they multiplied in such numbers and advanced so rapidly that they created big cities, countries, and a whole civilization. This made it difficult for them to conform to the plan of Creation and to sing praises to Taiowa and Sotuknang. More and more of them became wholly occupied with their own earthly plans.

Some of them, of course, retained the wisdom granted them upon their emergence. With this wisdom they understood that the farther they proceeded on the Road of Life and the more they developed, the harder it was. That was why their world was destroyed every so often to give them a fresh start.

Some Hopi accounts of the Third World contain the tantalizing information that “flying shields” had been developed there, capable of attacking faraway cities and coming back so quickly that no one knew where they had gone. (Not unlike Vimanas, Ancient Flying Vehicles mentioned in India’s myths), When this world and its advanced civilization was finally destroyed by Sotuknang, this time with great floods, the people who still remembered the plan of Creation took refuge inside the hollow stems of the bamboo. Then came their emergence into the Fourth World.

We are now living in The Fourth World

This time, the people had to search long and hard for a place to establish themselves and start over again. The Hopi tradition tells of endless journeys by boat, paddling uphill all the way. We are fast approaching the end of this world. In which those who “remember” will be taken to safety. Again, I believe the Ant People will be our friends and help humanity through this.

We are headed into the Fifth World. Some may call this the fifth dimension.  Whatever it is. It appears that life here on earth is cyclic. Good thing humanity has good friends in the Ant People.

Ant People are people

This could be your Aunt or your Ant

Fifth World

As one can see. Ant Medicine has a much deeper meaning. I Hopi, you get this meaning. I know, I had the Intent.

The next time you step on, squash, injure or kill an ant, ask yourself why you are choosing to destroy the unconditional love that the ant shares so freely.

If the ants are coming into your home ask yourself why? And rather than killing them, just take a moment to ask them to leave. You will be surprised at how well is works. After all ants are people too. They can read your mind.

Ant-Friends

We could use some help. Regardless of where it comes from

Ant Medicine is Trust, Patience, Order, Discipline, Community, team work, and loyalty.

Even though ants are such little creatures, Ant Medicine is important to be aware of. Ants for their size are one of the strongest creatures in the world. If you have ever watched ants you can see how they carry items twice their own size on their backs, if one ant falls down, and even if they are in danger others will come back to save each other, they are strong, loyal, and work as a team.

Something we humans should take to heart and practice. Such strong Medicine from such a small creature.

Ant Medicine is the promise of success through team effort. Patience my Friends, Patience.

Ant Medicine can teach us how to harness our own power to design and recreate our life, its circumstances from the ground up.

If you hear nothing else, here this message.
