GMOZ Corn maybe causing 10% of all American teenagers to have a previously rare liver disease (nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, or NAFLD) by the time they reach their 19th birthday. Notice their not even old enough to drink alcohol. High Fructose Corn Syrup from GMOZ corn has been cited as the cause by many scientists. It’s strange that nobody is listening to them. There has been an exponential growth in the consumption of GMOZ HFCS as well as that rare liver disease. If we read the labels on processed food. We notice that almost every one of them contains high fructose corn syrup. Non Diet Sodas are the biggest contributing food source, if you can call it food, that contain high fructose corn syrup. This could be the reason our teenagers are developing this rare liver disease, that’s becoming, not so rare.

Isn’t it strange that commercials for How Safe Corn Syrup is, never mention the fact that’s in just about very thing we eat. (Read the Labels) They state it’s the same as sugar. Well that maybe true to a degree, but sugar isn’t made from GMOZ corn. Plus, would you put sugar on everything you eat?

HFCS consists of 24% water, and the rest sugars. The most widely used varieties of high-fructose corn syrup are: HFCS 55 (mostly used in soft drinks), approximately 55% fructose and 42% glucose; and HFCS 42 (used in beverages, processed foods, cereals and baked goods), approximately 42% fructose and 53% glucose.

Cane sugar and beet sugar are both relatively pure sucrose. Of course sugar beets are now GMOZ. While glucose and fructose, which are the two components of HFCS, are monosaccharides, sucrose is a disaccharide composed of glucose and fructose linked together with a relatively weak glycosidic bond. The fact that sucrose, glucose and fructose are unique, distinct molecules complicates the comparison between cane sugar, beet sugar and HFCS. A molecule of sucrose (with a chemical formula of C12H24O12) can be broken down into a molecule of glucose (C6H12O6) plus a molecule of fructose (also C6H12O6 — an isomer of glucose) in a weakly acidic environment by a process called inversion. Sucrose is broken down during digestion into a mixture of 50% fructose and 50% glucose through hydrolysis by the enzyme sucrase. People with sucrase deficiency cannot digest (break down) sucrose and thus exhibit sucrose intolerance.

Fructose is absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract by a different mechanism than that for glucose. Glucose stimulates insulin release from the beta islet cells of the pancreas, but fructose does not. Fructose is metabolized primarily in the liver. Once inside the liver cell, fructose can enter the pathways that provide glycerol, the backbone for triacylglycerol. The growing dietary amount of fructose derived from sucrose or HFCS has raised questions about how children and adults respond to fructose alone versus when it is accompanied by glucose. If the men eat the epicyte gene, the produce antibodies to their own sperm, rendering them irreversibly sterile. If women eat the epicyte gene, their bodies produce antibodies to the sperm that has been deposited, and they become infertile through the destruction of the sperm.

The Epicyte gene was patented in 2001, which can prevent human conception. It was ‘contraceptive corn’ developed by the biotech company Epicyte, which Monsanto (Monsatan) and DuPont bought out and subsequently commercialized the Epicyte gene. What that gene does is creates human antibodies that attack sperm. So, in essence, what they came up with according to the then Epicyte president Mitch Hein was, ” a hothouse filled with corn plants that make anti-sperm antibodies.” Shortly after the 2001 Epicyte press release, all discussion of the breakthrough vanished. The company itself was taken over in 2004 by Biolex and nothing more was heard in any media about the development of spermicidal corn.

What that contraceptive Epicyte gene does is rather ‘amazing’ insofar as it induces a female’s body to make antibodies that attack sperm after coitus. Do consumers know they will get that ‘freebee’ after eating GMOZ Epicyte-gene-laden corn? How does that fit in with the eater’s philosophical or religious belief system? Why isn’t the Roman Catholic Church backing away from GMOZ food since GMOZ food apparently is a contraceptive that flies in the face of that church’s very dogma on contraception and life?

How nice of him don’t you think? Since the poorer people don’t tithe that much to the church.

On May 26, 1992 the FDA Rules that Genetically Modified Food Is ‘Substantially Equivalent’ to Conventionally Grown Food”.  They also stated, “We will ensure that biotech products will receive the same oversight as other products, instead of being hampered by unnecessary regulation”.
