We all know the story of THE FALL OF MAN. Once one reaches bottom of THE FALL OF MAN the only thing LEFT TO DO is to rise.

THE FALL OF MAN, or the fall, used in Christianity to describe the fall of the first man and woman from a state of innocent obedience to God to a state of guilty disobedience.

Although not named in the Bible, as THE FALL OF MAN, the doctrine of the fall comes from a biblical interpretation of Genesis chapter 3… At first, Adam and Eve lived with God in the Garden of Eden, when the serpent tempted them into eating the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, which God had forbidden. After doing so, they became ashamed of their nakedness and God expelled them from the Garden to prevent them from eating from the Tree of Life and becoming immortal.

I find this interesting. As it appears mankind was never immortal from the beginning. Nor, did mankind have the knowledge of Good and Evil. Plus, why would GOD put these trees where mankind would be tempted to eat them? That is, if GOD want mankind to remain in their ignorance/nakedness.

My question to GOD is, Has Mankind reach the bottom,,, the end of its fall yet? Has GOD already cast humanity into the bottomless pit to fall for all eternity?

Repent!, he says,,,,,,,, Repent for what? Becoming Conscious of Good and Evil?

Down We Go

Most believe humanity is at the pinnacle of its existence. In essence, to date, man has evolved to its highest degree of knowledge and innerstanding thus far. The technology at present is the highest man has ever achieved. In retrospect, this isn’t the case.

When in fact,,, Man may still be experiencing, THE FALL OF MAN. Plus, and I am being positive here, humanity is not as Spiritual as it once was. When one looks into the past we find Modern Man cannot do the things that Ancient Man could. However, what is the climb down to one man, can be the climb up for another. It’s a matter of perspective.

The story of the Garden of Eden and THE FALL OF MAN represents a tradition among the Abrahamic peoples, with a presentation more or less symbolical of certain moral and religious truths written for the Jewish people. What this has to do with Humanity is questionable, since most of humanity is not Jewish. Therefore this Doowan Questions everything, thus assumes nothing.

THE FALL OF MAN is not to belittle ones belief. It’s simply a reflection of the story given to humanity. One can ask their own questions, and believe what they want to believe.

Truth is, some of these beliefs are over two thousand years old. It’s time we take a look at THE FALL OF MAN to SEE if those beliefs still serve us on our Fall down/up from grace.

Genesis 3 New International Version (NIV)

THE FALL OF MAN

3.1.) Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

2.) The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,

3.) but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

4.) “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman.

5.) “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
6.) When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

7.) Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
8.) Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

9.) But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
10.) He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
11.) And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”
12.) The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”
13.) Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”
The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
14.) So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this,
“Cursed are you above all livestock
and all wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly
and you will eat dust
all the days of your life.
15.) And I will put enmity
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
he will crush your head,
and you will strike his heel.”
16.) To the woman he said,
“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;
with painful labor you will give birth to children.
Your desire will be for your husband,
and he will rule over you.”
17.) To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’
“Cursed is the ground because of you;
through painful toil you will eat food from it
all the days of your life.
18.) It will produce thorns and thistles for you,
and you will eat the plants of the field.
19.) By the sweat of your brow
you will eat your food
until you return to the ground,
since from it you were taken;
for dust you are
and to dust you will return.”
20.) Adam

[c] named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.
21.) The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.

22.) And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

23.) So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.

24.) After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

Wow, who’s the antagonist in this story? The snake? I think not. It becomes necessary to point out some interesting details in this story. Simply to see if the fruit is still working.

Besides the obvious that GOD has legs, and doesn’t like the heat of the day. What was GOD attempting to keep humanity from? The knowledge of Good and Evil, and the Tree of Immortality. Sow, not only were we ignorant, we weren’t immortal either.

GOD DAMN,,,, the punishment seems a little harsh. After all it was only the knowledge of Good and Evil that Adam and Eve ate. Oooops, sow Adam and Eve ate his fruit then realized they were ignorant/naked. Is the knowledge of Good and Evil what GOD considers sin or is it that we ate his fruit, and disobeyed GOD?

Another thing that stands out in this story is that GOD lied to Adam and Eve. 3.) but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

Sow, lying to your children is OK? Well did they die?  NO!!! Why didn’t GOD take care of the problem right then and there? Because, he loves man and wanted to give man a way back to the garden. Interesting way to show ones love, verses (16 through 19). I think a time out may have done the trick, don’t you?

Ahhh, and what happen to the snake that told the truth. He gets to crawl on his belly and eat dirt. Plus, His head gets crushed. Yikes!!!!

In Gnosticism, the G is silent. The snake is thanked for bringing knowledge to Adam and Eve, and thereby freeing them from the Demiurge’s control. The Demiurge banished Adam and Eve, because man was now a threat. A threat to whom,,,, GOD? Really?

1. Demiurge, a being responsible for the creation of the universe, in particular.
   (in Platonic philosophy) the Maker or Creator of the world.
   (in Gnosticism and other theological systems) a heavenly being, subordinate to the Supreme Being, considered to be the controller of the material world and antagonistic to all that is purely spiritual.

In Philip Pullman’s, His Dark Materials series (1995, 1997, 2000), THE FALL OF MAN is presented in a positive light, as it is the moment at which human beings achieve self-awareness, knowledge, and freedom. Pullman believes that it is not worth being innocent if the price is ignorance and slavery. Of course, there are those who would disagree!

On The Way Down

According to archaeological studies, in the past man was at a much higher degree of consciousness with a much higher Technology (“science of craft”), as seen in ancient sites around the earth. Just look at the wonders they created with bronze tools….. LOL

Why some think it was aliens, and not ancient man, is beyond me. Ha, Ha, Ha!  In Truth the evidence points to THE FALL OF MAN. Mans fall from what man once was, to what man is NOW.

What/Who caused THE FALL OF MAN is a mystery story. Who’s the author of your story? No doubt humanity has Fallen. What we do when we hit bottom makes the difference.

In that time, THE FALL OF MAN may have meant… Mankind was in the Autumn/Fall of its great year, thus mankind may still have its Winter, Spring, and Summer ahead resulting from the Persecution of the Equinox.

As with the cycle of seasons each having their turn. Therefore Humanity has its cycles. Since the Spring Equinox in March is the real start of the NEW YEAR, we have the spring and summer of this year to look forward too.

Some of Humanity live by a different calendar plastered on the walls of heaven. No matter which calendar you choose, it’s Time to lick our wounds, dust our selves off, and rise towards our Destiny.

Two thousand one hundred and fifty years later, THE WINTER OF MAN is over. We where knock down and knock out. However, HUMANITY IS ON IT’S KNEES, and the referee is still counting. Seven, Eight, Nine….

Ding!!!!, was that the bell, end of the round? Let’s call this fight off, you win GOD, my ears are ringing and I AM a little dizzy from THE FALL OF MAN.
