Mankinds Quest for Knowledge.
In Mankinds Four Natural Enemies, We need to cover a lot of ground. This may be new to some, sow take it slow. It’s better to chew on small bites of knowledge first.
As a result of my own experiences I have come to realize, We are perceivers. We are an awareness, we are not objects, we have no solidity. We are boundless. The world of objects and solidity is a way of making our passage on earth convenient. It is only a description that was created by our (reason) to help us.
We, or rather our reason, forgets that the description is only a description, thus we entrap ourselves in a vicious circle from which we rarely escape in our life times. To say it another way, there is no reality above and beyond that created by the integration of all human consciousnesses. I call it the Tonal of Humanity.
I believe that when we get enough (Awareness) people to see the world differently, that in a flash, our description of this world would change, thus so would our reality. The problem is that our reason is so unreasonable that we must battle with it on a daily basis. It wants to hold very tightly to the description of the world it’s been taught and won’t allow us the freedom to be what we truly are. Boundless.
Our belief that the world is this way and that way only perpetuates the description and keeps us trapped. I desire to break this entrapment. I want to be boundless and discover the totality of myself. We are so deeply convinced that our bodies are solid and objectively real. It is very difficult for us to entertain the idea that we are awareness free of form.
We as a species have to change the Tonal of this world view to change our reality. Getting caught up in the way things are only perpetuates the cycle. We have to see reality for what it really is, a construct ( Tonal Consciousness) of human reason. I say to hell with reason there’s no reason for it.
It’s been said that nobody can do anything to you that you won’t allow them to do. Yet, we let our reason dictate our view of reality. What’s happening in this world is a construct of every bodies description (Tonal Consciousness) of reality or reason. Look around you it’s very unreasonable. What’s the problem? Is somebody else doing something to us, or for us, that we don’t want? We must brake this cycle. We have to assume responsibility for our own actions. If we allow others to decide for us, then chaos is what we get. Sow be it. It has been very difficult to inform others to this fact, because they are caught up in their description and it’s very difficult for them to see realty differently.
Help! Am I just caught up in my own description?
Why should I care that the human race is caught up in a description of reality that doesn’t really exist… Hence, the illusion. Well… Not only does it effect them, it effects others around them. It’s something we have all been taught since birth. Sow as such, can be untaught.
The Quest for Knowledge
As stated in a A Doowans Point of View and based on personal experience; The known is everything I know to date. The unknown is everything I don’t know but could. The unknowable is everything I will never know. This I do Know, if we do not change our description, we as awareness are doomed to repeat this same cycle over and over again. Unknown to me, is whether the human race can change their description of reality and thus change the world in which we live. Unknowable to me, is whether it will be for the betterment of humanity or its down fall. Maybe that’s where hope and faith come into the equation, in the face of the unknowable. We will never know the unknowable if we judge our world simply from what we know. Then we are limiting our self to that description. When we come to understand that there is more to us then what we know, it gives us a bigger picture. However, it is still a description. When we are faced with the unknowable, this stops the description and our reason. At the same time, opening us up to the unfathomable reality in which we live. We become boundless.
With that out of the way, let’s talk about Mankinds Four Natural Enemies. They are not lions, tigers, hippos, or bears.
Mankinds Four Natural Enemies
Then, what kind of enemies are they? When a person starts to learn, they are never clear of their objectives, their purpose is faulty, their intent is vague. They hope for rewards that may never materialize. Why? Because they don’t know of the hardships involved in learning. However, they begin to learn little by little at first, then in big chunks, and their thoughts soon clash.
What they have learned is never what they pictured or imagined. Sow, they begin to be afraid. Learning is never what ones expects. Every step of learning is a new task and the fear they are experiencing begins to mount mercilessly, unyielding, and their purpose becomes a battlefield.
Thus, they stumble upon their first natural enemy, Fear! A terrible enemy, very treacherous and difficult to overcome, concealed at every turn prowling and waiting for them to make a mistake. If they run away terrified in it’s presence, then fear has put an end to their quest. Fear binds them, it will stop them in their tracks and prevent them from moving foreword on the quest for knowledge.
What can they do to overcome the first natural enemy? Simple, don’t run away. Defy fear, look it straight in the eyes, and take the next step in learning, and the next and the next. It’s OK to be fully afraid but do not stop! That is the rule. A moment will come when the enemy they face will retreat. They will begin to feel sure of themselves. Their intent becomes stronger and learning is no longer a terrifying task. They have overcome their first natural enemy. I am not saying that they will never be afraid again, but now they know what to do when faced with fear. They will no longer be bound, or frightened into paralysis. When this joyful moment comes, they can say without hesitation that they have defeated their first natural enemy and vanquished fear!
Instead of fear, they have acquired a clarity of mind which erases the fear. Now, they know their desires, and how to satisfy them. They can anticipate the new steps in learning, a sharp clarity surrounds everything, nothing is concealed. They can see clearly into everything they wish to look at. (Insight, hindsight, foresight) This forces them to never doubt themselves, and gives them the assurance they can do anything they please. They are courageous, they stop at nothing, however this is a mistake, it’s like something incomplete. It’s a make believe power and if they succumb to this, they will rush when they should be patient, or be patient when they should rush. They will fumble with learning until they wind up incapable of learning anything more. Thus, being defeated by their second natural enemy. Clarity!
What can they do to overcome the second natural enemy? The same thing they did with fear, Defy it. Use it only to see, after all it’s just a tool we humans have inherent in us. Wait patiently and measure carefully before taking the next step on the quest. A moment will come when they will understand that clarity is almost a mistake, it’s just a point of view before their very eyes. When this joyful moment comes they will have overcome and defeated their second natural enemy. Nothing can harm them anymore. This will not be a mistake or just a point of view before their eyes, it will be true personal power, true perception.
The last two natural enemies will be discussed in Mankinds Four Natural Enemies (Part Two) if you want to know more, or you can just wait patiently and experience them for yourself.

No, you are not just talking to yourself. But, I understand why you would feel that way.
If we are learning from you, that means just that.
Listening means that we are silent while you talk.

Good point. Thanks for this reflection. At times it does feel as though we are talking to ourselves here but as of a late, we are beginning to see more interest in these concepts shared on doowans.com. Many thanks for your perspective and for taking the time to comment! It’s always nice to know you are being heard! Much love. Feel free to drop us a line anytime! You have this Doowan’s consent.
